We will begin with dinner on Friday evening and end with lunch on Sunday.

All meals will be included.

Location will be a beautiful mountain Airbnb outside of Stroudsburg, PA.

The house will offer private rooms and, if requested, shared rooms.

Limited to 12 participants.

These days, when life events and experiences around us are upsetting, grim and harrowing, it is important to not give up or turn away. Poetry and poem-making help us to not do that...give up or turn away and I look forward to sharing this poetic medicine with you.

Poetry and poem-making remind us

that there is, everywhere, to be found:

beauty & surprise, truth & connection.

I believe it is possible for you and me to live in and create together what Rilke refers to as “what we imagine.”

Being open to and accepting of connections, seemingly small, yet also significant will encourage us to live with a sense of surprise each and every day.

Connection and disconnection are what we will explore!

What we imagine and the connections we make in life are the timeless kernel, core, essence, heart, hand-in-hand relationship of what is Poetic Medicine. Poetic Medicine is for this: to nourish the imagination, affirm truth-telling, and help us all see beyond time.

No experience with poetry necessary.
