A photo of a solitary tree on a grassy hill. The Milky Way is very visible in the sky and is dazzling in its supreme beauty. There is a poem overlaid titled "Star Grazing" by Geoffrey Oelsner. The poem reads: I slowly sink in darkness as wind sings the summer meadow. / It's been so long since I've given the full breadth of my back to earth, / my face to the stars. Damn it, I've grown cautious here, / concerned about chiggers and ticks, but this dark blue blanket / underlying me lets me embed myself in windswept grass / and rest. Fireflies begin their country dancers. I hear / the shivering Eastern Screech Owls' wails map the slope / from tree to tree across a forest mile. I rise in softened mind / to join the flittering over-life of night. The Milky Way begins to span / the deepening dark, stars growing more concise, the old soul road / beckoning. I rest more fully now, my body sinking down / as my happy nothing body rises, formless sphere / that brought my earthly body here, now borne on / wings of constellated light. Half asleep, / bedecked by dew, I graze the stars, all thought cast off, / and disappear in slumber as wind sings the field.
