The poem reads "I sit before you / Scanning you vastness // Massive Pillar of Strength / Sanctuary of Knowledge / Adorned in a skin of copper and bronze / Decorated with ribbons in ancient relief // Holy Monolith ablaze in glory / Surrounded by sanctified cliffs / (enraptured by your powerful presence) / Soaring verticality against a cerulean embrace / You reach up and whisper to the heavens // Sacred Spider Rock / Cast in mystery and legend / Here I am ennobled / as I gaze upon your towering walls // Yes, Ancient One, watchtower of the Dine, / (purveyor of their wisdom) / Please spread your sacred teachings beyond // The example of your sweet people / tending Mother Earth / honoring Father Sky / respecting all creatures, large and small / Their love, their happiness, their balance // I humbly ask / Please spread your wisdom / and seed the planet with your noble spirit / And teach mankind to be the keeper of the garden - / to honor all of the earth - / land and sea, plants and animals / And to see the beauty not only in the land / but in each other"
