There is a poem by Eileen Walsh titled "Spring Is Here" that reads: Rise up/Push Through/from the darkness/merging into light/Struggling to breathe/Waiting to open wide/to reach the sky./Yet/something deep inside/calls me back/into stillness, silence, solitude/Afraid-Yes/of what is not known/of where I must go/of why I must stand/Stand for what is true/Speak for what I believe/Sing songs of freedom./I must trust the light/and know that spring is here/even when my heart/is still unsure...
