Poetry Partners

Poetry Partners represent the Institute for Poetic Medicine in sectors such as mental health, medicine and medical school, environmental work, healthcare (nurses, doctors, patients), pastoral and palliative care, cancer care support, hospice, education, psychiatry and social work.

IPM's Poetry Partners are funded programs that support bringing poetry-as-healer to a specific local population.

These programs are developed with careful consideration of the participants they intend to serve. The proposals are reviewed by a Certified Practitioner of Poetic Medicine to help hone the goals and expectations regarding results before being brought to the Board of Directors for approval.
