John Millemon

John was born in Princeton, MO. He received his Bachelor’s in Economic Geography and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO. He attended the University of Texas at Dallas and the University of Houston for the study of Accounting and Finance. He worked for ten years at Bank of America. For five years he served the unhoused through the Church of Christ in downtown Dallas.

John taught in the Learning Center at Richland College for 25 years. He is a facilitator with the Center for Renewal and Wholeness in Dallas, which is based on the work of Parker Palmer. John is Certified in the field of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. He has served on the Board of The Institute for Poetic Medicine since Autumn of 2019.
